J.P. Jamerson Died Tuesday

    James Preston Jamerson, aged 51 years, died at the Sanitarium at Durant Tuesday. Cause of death was given as stomach trouble. Funeral services were held at the family home three miles north of Boswell, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, conducted by Rev. J.B. Ward. Interment was in the Boswell cemetery.

    James Preston Jamerson was born in Logan County, Kentucky, on February 28th, 1881. He was married to Miss Jessie Porter in 1902 and to the union eight children, who with his wife survive him. He is also survived by his mother and two sisters.

    Mr. Jamerson came to this section in 1917 and has been engaged in farming. He was well liked and respected by all, and his passing is regretted by all.
