The Fort Towson Enterprise – January 25, 1918 – transcribed by Ron Henson

Died – At her home in this place, Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. E. May, after an illness of about two weeks. The remains were taken the following day to her old home in Arkansas for burial. The floral offerings sent by her many friends and the different societies to which she belonged were very beautiful and shows the high esteem in which she was held. We extend condolence to the bereaved family.
