    Funeral services for Mary Ann Penix of Hugo were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
    Mrs. Penix died Friday, December 3, 2004, in Paris, Texas. She was 69.
    Mary Ann Penix was born June 22, 1935 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clint and Florence (Rivers) Lambert. She married Richard Penix on June 9, 1957, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1968. Mary Ann is a retired teacher, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
    Surviving relatives: one son, Raman Alan Penix of Paris, Texas; brother & sister-in-law, Hal & Jeanette Lambert of Hugo; three grandchildren, Jennifer Hollje & husband, Charlie of Paris, Texas, Skye Penix of Paris, Texas, and Stoni Penix of Hugo; three great-grandchildren, Kyran, Gavyn & Bryce.
    The family received friends Monday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel.
