    Funeral services for Betty Springfield of Boswell were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Victory Life Tabernacle in Boswell with Bro. Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
    Mrs. Springfield died December 5, 2004, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. She was 67. She was a homemaker.
    She was born July 26, 1937 in Wolfe City, Texas, the daughter of Douglas and Zella (Weeks) Dees and had lived most of her life in the Boswell area. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Joe Springfield on June 11, 1983 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Boswell.
    Surviving relatives: Her husband, Joe Springfield; two sons, Ronnie Pierce of Boswell and Rick Pierce of Goodland; three daughters, Sue Belvin of Calera, Linda Williams of Bennington and Sharon Blankenship of Boswell; one brother, Richard Dees of Herndon, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one nephew and two great nephews.
