    Graveside services for Jewel Hurlburt were held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2004, in Bokchito Cemetery with Mr. Arnold Clauson officiating.
    Mrs. Hurlburt died Saturday, December 11, 2004 in Hugo. She was 89.
    Jewel Hurlburt was born on January 25, 1915 in Horatio, Ark., to George and Katerene (Gordie) Sharp. Jewel had lived in this area for the last 10 years having moved here from Fort Towson. She married Lonnie L. Hurlburt on September 9, 1928 in Bonham, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Lonnie Hurlburt.
    She is survived by eight sons, Dean Hurlburt of Gun Barrel City, Texas, Neal Hurlburt of Phoenix, Ariz., Pete Hurlburt of Ft. Smith, Ark., Junior Hurlburt of Hugo, Bill Hurlburt of Atoka, Joe Hurlburt of Ft. Towson, Eddie Hurlburt of Cloudy, and James Hurlburt of Irving, Texas; three daughters, Annie Shaw of Lancaster, Texas, Della Shaw of Hugo and Donnie Eden of Antlers; one sister, Kattie Morris of Waxahachie, Texas; 42 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
