Mrs. A.S. (Ila) Brooks

Mrs. A.S. (Ila) Brooks, 304 North 4th Street, died Tuesday in Choctaw County Memorial Hospital.
A retired teacher from the Hugo School System, Mrs. Brooks had been a Hugo resident for the past 40 years, moving here from Denton, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two nieces: Miss Carolyn Swinney, Lawton; Mrs. Lorenz Boyd, Nashville, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Edith Cunningham, Hugo, and a nephew, Wren Latimer, also of Hugo.
Funeral services and burial will be held in Denton, Texas. Local arrangements are with Lampton-Mills Funeral Home.
