Lawrence Lee Graves

Lawrence Lee Graves, 57, of Hugo, Oklahoma, formerly of Erlanger, Kentucky, died Monday, December 13, 2004 at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo.
Larry was the procurement officer with Carson & Barnes Circus and a Vietnam War veteran.
Survivors include a son, Kerry Kreko Graves and a daughter, Lindsey Taylor Graves, both of Columbia, South Carolina; sisters, Joyce Ann Graves of Erlanger, Kentucky and Gayle Graves Holten of Independence, Kentucky. Larry is also survived by an extensive Carson & Barnes Circus family.
Services were at noon Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Linnemann Funeral Home in Covington, Kentucky. Visitation was at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial was in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
The family has requested donations to Northern Kentucky Emergency Cold Shelter, 2105 Maryland Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011 in lieu of flowers.
A "Celebration of Completion of Life" will be held later this spring in Hugo to honor Larry's dedication and contributions to Carson & Barnes Circus. The last venue Larry booked before his death was Cincinnati located just minutes from his childhood home and final resting place. The Graves' sisters will be the guests of honor in Cincinnati on Labor Day. The Labor Day show will be dedicated to the memory of the "Big Man with the Big Heart."
