Roy Newman Green

    CPO Roy N. Green, 74 years old, passed away on Dec. 10, 2004 in San Diego, Calif., where he has lived for the last 30 years.
    He was born on Oct. 28, 1930 in Paris, Texas to Charles V. and Clara Walker Everidge Green, and raised in Hugo. Roy served 30 years in the Navy, retiring as an Chief Petty Officer.
    Roy leaves behind sons, Gary L (Kitty) Green of Stockton, Calif. and Robert J. Green of Santa Cruz, Calif. Roy also leaves grandchildren, Margaret S. Brewer, Cpl Edward J. Green (USMC), Lcpl Robert N.(Rachel) Green (USMC), Jessicalee M. Green and great granddaughter Emerald R. Green all of Stockton, Calif. Roy also leaves behind his friends, which his family would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts for all the care they have given to him all the past years, Jim (Julie) Smith and Jim (Molly) Liu.
    Roy's wishes were to be cremated and scattered at sea. No services are to be held. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
