Adrian Routon

    Adrian Routon, a resident of Soper, died Sunday in a Durant hospital.
He was 66.
    Routon was a rancher by occupation and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
    He was born Dec. 28, 1923 in Nelson, the son of Walter and Bessie (Harper) Routon. He had been a resident of this community all of his life.
    Routon married Mildred Ridge on Sept. 21, 1943 in Soper. She survives him.
    Other survivors include two sons, Adrian Routon of Mesquite, Texas and Ronald Routon of Soper; a daughter, Janelle Hassell of Lone Grove, Okla.; his parents, Walter and Bessie Routon of Duncan, Okla.; a sister, Mary Jones of Duncan, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.
    Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Hugo, Rev. Jerry Cooper will officiate.
    Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
    The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo is in charge of arrangements.
