    Services for Johnny Scott will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Boswell First Baptist Church. Internment will follow at the Restland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Boswell.
    Johnny Scott died Nov. 17, 2002 in Boswell. He was 65.
    Morris John Scott was born in Boswell Aug. 29, 1937 to Ray and Rachel (Stevenson) Scott. He married Lometa Stingley Nov. 9, 1953 in the Boswell Methodist Church. Johnny was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boswell. He was a rancher and life-long resident of Boswell.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Scott and his mother, Rachel York.
    Johnny is survived by his wife, Lometa Scott of Boswell; two sons, Joe Bill Scott and wife, Delma of Chelsea and Paul David Scott and wife, Vicki of Boswell; one daughter, Rachel Lynn Evans and husband Terry of Chelsea; three sisters, Myra McCormic of Sherman, Texas; and Icel Ferguson and Frances Carter of Texas; five grandchildren, Brandy Williams, Jennifer Scott, Scott Evans, John Paul Scott and Katie Scott; and three great-grandchildren, Morgan Williams, Clay Williams and Emily Williams.
    The Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Boswell is handling the funeral arrangements.
