Virginia "Ginger" Meinke

    Graveside services for Virginia "Ginger" Meinke of Boswell were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, with Bro. David Dooley officiating.
    Mrs. Meinke died February 12, 2005, at her home. She was 74. She was a waitress and was of the Christian faith.
    She was born October 15, 1930 in Soper, Okla., the daughter of Tom Downs and Ethel M. (Holt) Downs and lived most of her life in the Boswell area. She loved sports, watching television, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Meinke on May 16, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her daughter; Linda Marie Jones and two brothers; Merle Downs and Bill Downs.
    SURVIVING RELATIVES: son-in-law; Duane Jones of Boswell, two grandsons; Ken Jones of McKinney, Texas and Chad Jones of Boswell; two great granddaughters; Morgan Jones and Kelsi Jones of McKinney, Texas, Two step great grandchildren; Gehrig Duncan and Emma Duncan, both of McKinney, Texas; one brother; Buddy Downs of Foley, Alabama.
    VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 ñ 7:00 PM, Monday, February 14, 2005 at the funeral Home
