Danny Eugene Trapp

    Danny Eugene Trapp, 54, of Krum, Texas, died Fenruary 9, 2005, surrounded by his friends and family.
    After serving in Viet Nam, Danny worked as a carpenter until he became disabled in 2000. In his younger days, he looked sort of like Randy Travis but couldn't really sing - though he enjoyed trying.
    Danny burned the candle at both ends, but without regret. In his last years, though mostly confined to a wheelchair, Danny still enjoyed gardening and sitting out on his deck watching the sunset.
    Danny was born December 6, 1950 in Detroit, Texas, the son of Eugene Trapp and Thelma Campbell Trapp. He grew up in Hugo and Fort Towson, along with his brother Steven Larry Trapp and sister Debbie Trapp Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sons Gene Trapp and Terry Webber.
    Danny is survived by his loving wife Mandy; one daughter, Stacey Brown; two sons, Tracey Trapp and Waylon Drinnon; and five grandchildren.
    Family and friends gathered at 5 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2005, at Danny's home, 6598 FM 2450, Krum, Texas, to celebrate his life.
