Charley "Chuck" Roberts

    Graveside services for Charley "Chuck" Roberts of Ringold were held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005, in Old Ringold Cemetery with Pastor Ramona Babcock officiating.
    Mr. Roberts died Tuesday, February 1, 2005, in Broken Bow. He was 72.
    Chuck Roberts was born August 4, 1932 in Wewoka, the son of Frank & Johnnie Roberts. He worked as a dairy farmer for most of his life. He married Aline Woodman on July 8, 1984 in Reno, Nev. He lived most of his life in the Ringold area, other than working about nine years in California. He was a musician and singer, playing in many different bands around Oklahoma and California. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dell Crowl; and three brothers, Louis Roberts, Howard Roberts, and Leon Harless Roberts.
    Surviving relatives: Wife, Aline Roberts of the home; son, Charles Roberts of Atoka; daughters, Linda Roberts of Ringold and Cheryl Morin of California; sisters, Evelyn Berry of DeQueen, Ark., Ruth Carter of Arkansas, and Mary Fern Hutchinson of California; brothers, Coy Roberts of Oklahoma and Clifford Roberts of California; nine grandchildren.
