    Services for Wretha Fay Throne, 89 were held Monday, December 13, 2004, in the First Assembly of God Church of Childress, Texas with the Rev. Darrell Burton and the Rev. Randy Wilson officiating.
    Mrs. Throne died Friday, December 10, 2004 at Childress Regional Medical Center. Burial was in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
    Born September 29, 1915 at Strong City, Okla., she was a homemaker. She and Leonard Throne were married July 9, 1936 in Shadduck, Okla., and were married 54 years at the time of his death in 1990. Her first priority was her family; she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Childress, Texas.
    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Bell, in 2004, two grandchildren, Randy Bell and Debbie Sanderson and four sisters.
    Survivors include two daughters; Nadine Bell of Soper, and Jodi Ray of Childress, Texas; two sons; Clifford Throne of Wellington, Texas and David Throne of Childress, Texas; one sister; Hallie Carey of Cheyenne, Okla.; a brother; Robert Underwood of Winlock, Wash.; 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
