Ruby Mae Tyson

    Funeral services for Ruby Mae Tyson of Soper were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo with Rev. Joey Waldrep and Rev. Michael Riley officiating. Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
    Mrs. Tyson died Friday, January 28, 2005, in Antlers. She was 80.
    Ruby Mae Tyson was born on October 27, 1924 in Mudsand Community, to George and Martha Ellen (Taylor) McKee. Ruby married Marion O. "Mutt" Tyson and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1990 and two brothers, Johnny McKee and Harvey McKee.
    She is survived by three sons, Larry O. Tyson and Dewayne L. Tyson both of Soper, and C. Lynn Tyson of Atoka; one daughter, Dorothy M. Southard of Valliant; three brothers, Charlie McKee and Burl McKee both of Soper, and Wilburn McKee of Farris; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    The family received friends Monday, January 31, 2005, from 5-6 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
