Janet Lynn (Gervais) Cook

Funeral services for Janet Lynn (Gervais) Cook of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Hammons officiating. Interment was in Fort Towson Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook died October 18, 2005, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. She was 49. She was a nurse’s aide.

Janet was born August 5, 1956 in Hugo, the daughter of Wilfred U. and Inez (Brandon) Gervais. She lived in the Hugo community most of her life. She worked at Choctaw Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aide for three years. She loved her work, her kids, and grandchildren very much. She also loved to shop. Her father preceded her in death.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: four sons; Ricky Place, Chris Place, Jason Cook, and Tony Cook all of Hugo, her mother Inez Gervais of Fort Towson, two sisters; Dorothy Gervais of Hugo, and Linda Henderson of Fort Towson and three grandchildren.
