Arnold R. Hendley

Funeral services for Arnold R. Hendley of Hugo will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at Shoals Baptist Church in Hugo. Interment will follow in Shoals Cemetery.
Mr. Hendley died Monday, November 8, 2004, in Hugo. He was 86.
Arnold was born on February 26, 1918 in Valliant, Okla., to Ralph and Della (Roberts) Hendley. He married Nettie Clayton on June 25, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia. He had lived in this area all of his life. He was retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Arnold served his country in the Army during World War II. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Hendley; and a sister, Pearl Wright.
Arnold is survived by his wife, Nettie; one son, Jackie Hendley of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Pamela Luna of Hugo, Okla.; two brothers, Jack Hendley of Sweetwater, Texas and Carl Hendley of Enid, Okla.; three sisters, Hazel Reese of Hugo, Okla., Jessie Hall of Broken Bow, Okla., and Helen Corley of Durant, Okla.; six grandchildren, Deana Steebler of Thrall, Texas, Lindsey Miller of Hugo, Okla., Mike Hendley of Durant, Jacklynn Hendley, Reneece Hendley and Rusty Goeman, all of Dallas, Texas; five great grandchildren, Tyler and Zach Hendley, Hanna & Joseph Steebler, Gaige Goeman and Chloe Miller.
