W.M. Smith
W.M. Smith Dead
Fort Towson Enterprise – March 3, 1911 – transcribed by Ron Henson

Our people were shocked Wednesday morning when the news came that Will Smith was dead. He was in town the day before appearently [sic] as well as for some time and no one thought the end was so near. He was taken sick during the night and medical aid was summoned [sic] and all was done for him that could be, but to no avail – he died the following morning about 10 o’clock, and was buried the next day at Old Town.
