Belle Wilson
Fort Towson Enterprise – December 20, 1912 – transcribed by Ron Henson
Resolutions of Respect
Mrs. Belle Wilson was born near old Goodland June 5th, 1871, and died at Paris, Texas, Nov. 19, 1912. She was a devout Christian. She was not a Christian only by profession, but in walk and in life. She is not dead, but sleepeth [sic]. She left husband, mother (Mrs. Turnbull) and seven children. We extend our sympathy to all of the bereaved ones, and may they all meet her in heaven.
Therefore, be it Resolved, That in Sister Wilson’s death our Sunday school and church has lost an efficient and loyal member.
Resolved, That though God has called her home, yet we can thank Him for life and her life of faith.
Resolved, that we extend comfort to the sorrowing ones, and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family and to our church paper.
Mrs. John Huskey,
Mrs. J.P. Warren,
Mr. H.L. Clark,
Committee
