The sad news was received here this morning that Charlie Scruggs had died in a hospital in Paris where he had gone some days ago for treatment.

The remains of Charlie Scruggs were brought from Dallas where he died last week from typhoid pneumonia which set up after an operation for appendicitis, and laid to rest in Doakesville cemetery Sunday morning.
