Gone to His Reward
James P. Dunn died at his home two miles south of town Monday night with pneumonia, after an illness of about a week, and was burried [sic] at Doakesville cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C.C. Morris conducting the funeral seremony [sic].
Jim Dunn was well liked and had numerous friends all over the county. He had served as constable for about a year and a half and discharged his duty faithfully.
He leaves a wife to mourn his loss, to whom the sympathy of the entire community goes in this hour of sorrow.
He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and leaves the widow $1,000.00 insurance.
