Raymond "Cowboy" Harris

Raymond "Cowboy" Harris, 83, of Hugo, passed away on Wednesday, February 9th at Choctaw County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Harris was born July 31, 1899 in Annona, Texas and had been a resident of this community for most of his life. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired plumber.
Surviving relatives include the wife, Johnnie, of the home; a son, Raymond T. Harris of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Mattie Belle Golaz of Dallas; a half-sister, Mrs. Howell Norwood of California; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Coffey Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Bill Stone officiated.
Interment was in the Goodland Cemetery.
