Merle Ernestine Logan

    Mrs. Homer (Merle Ernestine) Logan, 69, of Route 2, Hugo, died Thursday, February 10th in Hugo.
    Mrs. Logan was born April 16, 1913 in Albia, Texas and had been a resident of Hugo the past 54 years. She was a member of the Messer Church of Christ.
    Surviving relatives include the husband, Homer, of the home; a son, Henry Logan of Choctaw; four daughters, Fern McGhee, Joyce Higgins and Betty Methvin of Hugo and Wilma Miller of Garland, Texas; two brothers, Clifton Davis of Sweetwater, Texas and [line missing] Margaret Smiley, all of Sweetwater; and nine grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held in the Jackson Street Church of Christ on Saturday, February 12th at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Bill Rhodes and Mr. Don Smith will officiate.
    Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Lampton-Mills Funeral home.
