Lloyd William Simpson

Mr. Lloyd W. Simpson, who resided at 1120 East Duke
Street in Hugo, died Tuesday in Choctaw Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Rev. Wendell Keller officiating. Lampton Mills will have charge of burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Simpson was 81 years of age, having been born in Paris, Texas, November 15, 1895. He was a member of the First Christian Church and a veteran of World War I. A retired druggist, he owned the Palace Drup[sic] Store in Hugo from 1919 until 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Myra; a daughter, Mrs. Billijo Gourley of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
