Mrs. Lloyd (Myra) Simpson

Services are pending with Lampton-Mills Funeral Home for Mrs. Lloyd (Myra) Simpson, pioneer and
prominent Hugo citizen, who died Tuesday afternoon in Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Simpson was an active member of the First Christian Church. Down through the years she has been active in a number of church, cultural and art related activities. She has been a well known artist in the community.
During the past Christmas season, her beautiful home at 1120 East Duke Street, was awarded first place in the city's Christmas luminary decorating contest.
Mrs. Simpson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Billijo Gourley of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Simpson services Friday
Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church for Mrs. Lloyd (Myra) Simpson, 1120 East Duke Street, who died Wednesday afternoon.
The officiating clergyman will be Rev. Wayne Estus, pastor. Interment by Lampton-Mills Funeral Home will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family has suggested that friends may, if they wish, make memorial gifts to the First Christian Church (P.O. Drawer C, Hugo) in lieu of flowers.
