Tony Thain

    Funeral services for Tony Thain of Wright City were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Wright City with Bro. Aaron Strange officiating. Interment was in Slater Cemetery in Wright City.
    Mr. Thain died November 24, 2004, in Antlers. He was 53. He was employed with Weyerhaeuser of Wright City as a millwright. He was an Intermediate EMT and Assistant Fire Chief for Wright City Volunteer Fire Department; he was of the Christian faith.
    He was born April 20, 1951 in Orlando, Fla., and had lived in the Wright City area for the past 20 years. He married Joy Trusty on May 26, 1988 in Clarksville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Beulah Maye Wooldridge; two sons, David Thain and Derick Thain; and two brothers, R.C. Hanner and Tryson Thain.
    Surviving relatives: His wife, Joy Thain; one son, Darrell Thain of Rattan; three daughters, Nita Efaw of Wright City, Toni Cantrell of Cameron and Deidra Meredith of Hugo; one sister, Trebus Kellett of Antlers; two brothers, Dale Webster of Oelhrig, S.D. and Tye Thain of McAlester; one granddaughter and six grandsons.
