Thomas C. Hutchings

Thomas C. Hutchings, a 79 year old retired baker and building superintendant at Jackson Street Church of Christ, until his health began to fail, died about 3 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital here. He suffered a severe heart attack as he arrived at his home, 511 S. 5th, shortly before noon Sunday after a visit with a relative on a houseboat at Eufala. Coffey Funeral Home

Thomas C. Hutchings 79, of 511 S. 5th. Street died at mid-afternoon Sunday in Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted at noon, after an apparent heart attack. He retired in 1957 as a baker, and until June, had been custodian of the Jackson Street Church of Christ. He formerly lived in Lubbock, Tex. and Oklahoma City. Mr. Hutchings leaves his wife, Mattie, and six children: Mrs. Fred Boone, Hugo; Mrs. Elzie Glaze and Raghel Hutchings, Lubbock; Mrs. Al Strickland, Orland, Fla., and Noah and Harold Hutchings, Oklahoma City. Coffey Funeral Home here has charge of services.
