Barbara Jean Williams

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Williams of Hugo were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2005, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Rev. Gene Witt officiating. Interment was in Springs Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died November 10, 2005, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. She was 71. She was an executive secretary for a time before becoming a homemaker.

Barbara was born November 11, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Edward John and Hazel Louise
(Johnson) Cameron and moved to Hugo in 1990 upon her husband’s retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Homer Gilliam and her loving husband in 2000.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: her son; H. Scott Bellamy and his wife Brenda of Red Oak, Texas, her daughter; Sharon K. Edge and her husband Mac of Boswell, three grandchildren; Lonnie Bellamy of DeSoto, Texas, Lorie Coker of Ferris, Texas and Tina (Gooding) Gates formerly of Hugo, three step grandchildren; Marty Edge of Prattville, Ala., and Keith Edge of Boswell, nine great grandchildren, one brother-in-law: Paul B. Williams of Hugo, two sisters-in-law; Sue Williams of Hugo, and Billie Jean Henslee of Haltom City, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of family and friends.

Family received friends Sunday November 13, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
