Funeral of Mrs. J.T. Reed Held at Hugo
Died Suddenly at Home at Durant Thursday - Formerly Lived at Hugo

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Reed, 45, wife of J.T. Reed, former Choctaw county school superintendent, who died suddenly Thursday at her home in Durant, were held in Hugo at the First Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. Heart failure, with which Mrs. Reed had been troubled some time, was believed the cause of her death.
Mrs. Reed, with her husband and two sons, Fred and Troy, made her home in Hugo a number of years prior to moving to Durant, where Mr. Reed became state vocational rehabilitation supervisor.
In addition to her immediate family, Mrs. Reed is survived by her father, Houston Frederick of Durant; a sister, Mrs. Willie Page, Sapulpa; and three brothers, Willie Frederick, Fort Worth, Oscar Frederick, Breckenridge, and Manuel Frederick, El Paso.
