Oray Wright of Hugo is Victim of Heat Wave

As a result of heat prostration, Oray Wright, 28, died at about 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the Paris Sanitarium shortly after he was taken there for treatment.
Friends said Saturday night that Mr. Wright became heated while repairing the roof of a house in the residential district here. He drank an excessive amount of ice water, causing complication which is believed to have resulted in his death.
His condition was not considered critical Friday night by the attending physician, but he became violently ill early Saturday morning. Shortly after he was taken to the hospital in a Snow ambulance his death occured.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Methodist church at the home Mr. Wright's uncle, A.J. Wright Sr., on South Third street, with the Rev. Alva Hutchinson, pastor officiating.
