A J Wright Died Wednesday; Funeral Held Today at 2:30

Funeral services for A J Wright, Sr, were held this afternoon at 2:30 in the chapel of the Snow Funeral Home, with Dr J F Murrell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating, and the Snow Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Mt Olivet.
A J Wright was born October 12, 1861, in Cleveland county, Ark, and came to Ft Towson in the early days of Oklahoma. He later moved to Hugo where he has since resided.
He and his brother J H Wright, also deceased, built what is known as the Wright building at the corner of Broadway and Duke, now owned by Mr Beal.
He is survived by one son, A J Wright Jr and a grand-daughter, Mrs Fred Wilcox of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Bearers were: J D Jacks, Don Caylor, C L Yates, E M Durland, Harold Griffith and E M Wood.
Mr Wright had a wide acquaintance both in and out of business circles and enjoyed the high esteem of all who knew him.
