Weldon W. Mays Is Reported As Killed in Action
Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Mays, route two, received a message from the war department late Wednesday afternoon advising them that their son, Weldon W. Mays, had been killed in action on April 17.
Private Mays enlisted in the army three years ago and was assigned to the 932 signal battalion stationed in England.
The News join the friends in extending condolence to the parents, brothers and sisters.
