Carl Faulks

Funeral services for Carl Faulks were held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Boswell with Dr. Don Hazel officiating, assisted by Bro. Dave Watkins. Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

Mr. Faulks died December 8, 2005, in Boswell. He was 85. He was a farmer and rancher, and was of the Baptist faith.

Carl was born August 15, 1920 in Jones County, Texas, the son of James Webster and Mary Ethel (Kelly) Faulks and had lived in Boswell since March 1959. He married Elva Mae Chapin on October 8, 1940 in Texas. She preceded him in death in March of 2000.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: 1 son; Eddie Carl Faulks of Chandler, Texas, 2 daughters; Patsy Dominick of Durant, and Lana Faulks of Norman, 3 brothers; Chester Faulks of Anson, Texas, Deward Faulks of Sonora, Texas, and James Webster Faulks, Jr. of Abilene, Texas, 2 sisters; Wilma Fulbright of Gainesville, Texas, and Nova Caffey of Abilene, TX, 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren, along with many other friends and relatives.

The family received friends Sunday December 11, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. in the funeral home.
