Linnie E. Montgomery

Funeral services for Linnie E. Montgomery of Hugo were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment was in Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo.
Mrs. Montgomery died December 6, 2005, in Hugo. She was 95. She was a homemaker, a member of 1st Baptist Church, Hugo, Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and Home Demonstration Club.
Linnie was born September 25, 1910 in Direct, Texas, the daughter of Arthur A. Evett and Lucy (Foster) Evett and had lived in Hugo since 1916. She married Clarence Montgomery on June 14, 1936 in Antlers. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2003.
