Helen Idell Frederick

Funeral services for Helen Idell Frederick of Valliant were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2005 at Watermill Baptist Church in Valliant with Bro. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Interment was in Valliant Cemetery.

Mrs. Frederick died December 15, 2005, in Texarkana, Texas. She was 88. She was a waitress and cashier.

She was born March 23, 1917 in Yell County, Arkansas the daughter of Tommy Lee Andrew and Julie Ann (Jackson) Phillips and had lived in the Valliant area for three years. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dominoes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew Frederick, 1 daughter Bonnie Wiley; 5 brothers; Floyd, Guy, Glen, Royce and Eugene Phillips, 2 sisters; June & Margie Phillips.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: two daughters; Norma Harris of Mount Vernon, Mo. and Debra Foster of Mount Vernon, Mo., 4 grandchildren Gerald Harris, Jeffrey Harris and his wife Vicki, Travis Foster and Keith Foster, 2 sisters; Ethel Rowan of Wright City, Okla. and Tommie Mason of Eufaula, Okla.; 1 niece; Shirley Blackard of Valliant along with many other relatives and friends.
