Billie Joyce Trent

Billie Joyce Trent, of Soper, Okla., passed away on December 17, 2005 in Midwest City, Okla., at the age of 74. She was born on August 19, 1932 in Mesa, Ariz., to William and Lorene (Keener) Russey. Billie had lived in this community for the past 54 years and was a member of the Archey Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Trent, Jr.; her father, Bill Russey; her mother, Lorene Hamilton; and her step-father, J.D. Hamilton. She will be greatly missed.

Billie is survived by her step-mother, Betty Russey of Chadler, Ariz.; two sons, Andy Trent & wife Carolyn and Clint Trent & wife Cheryl both of Soper, Okla.; two brothers, Dale Russey of Soper, Okla. and Dewayne Russey of Chandler, Ariz.; three sisters, Mina Black of Chandler, Ariz., Janet Clark of Bennington, Okla. and Janice Howell of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five grandchildren, Shamron Trent & wife Kellie, Dustin Trent, Shane Trent, Justin Trent & wife Danielle, and Nacona Trent all of Soper, Okla.; four great-grandchildren, Pacen Herman, Tanner Trent, Harlee Trent and Holden Blaine all of Soper, Okla.; and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Trent were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in Soper High School Gymnasium with Reverend Blake Gideon officiating, assisted by Larry Minchey. Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
