Ray Dean McEwing

Funeral services for Ray Dean McEwing of Hugo were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Joseph Chirayath officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. McEwing died Monday, December 19, 2005, in Paris, Texas. She was 78.

Ray Dean McEwing was born on October 1, 1927 in Nashville, Tenn. to Ray and Clara (Tucker) O’Guin. Ray Dean had lived in this community for the past 43 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a homeowner and a nursing home owner. She married W.M. McEwing in Nashville, Tenn. on April 7, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, W.M. McEwing, in 1984. She will be greatly missed.

Ray Dean is survived by one son, Patrick Richard McEwing of Perkins; one daughter, Gwendolyn Marie McEwing Chance of Soper; one sister, Delores Mitchell of Sallisaw; and four grandchildren.
