Charles “Butch” Pierce

Charles “Butch” Pierce of Boswell passed away December 26, 2005, in Boswell at the age of 59. He was born February 22, 1946 in Boswell to Leroy and Evelyn (Clark) Pierce. He married Alice “Jeanie” Willett on July 8, 2000 in Boswell. He was born and raised in Boswell and retired from the City of Boswell. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Evelyn Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Alice of the home; five daughters, Melissa & Jared Bell of Soper, Kara Pierce of Durant, Pam & Brian Manar, and Joy Miller & Jeff all of Boswell, Shannon Pierce of Powderly; four brothers, Robert “Heavy” Pierce & wife Jeania, Sam Pierce & wife Christy, Tony Pierce & wife Lisa all of Boswell, and Joe Edward Pierce & wife Norla of Bokoshe; three sisters, Rhonda Moore & husband Mike of Paris, Texas, Betty Winters and husband Leon of Sumner, Texas and Shirley Miller and husband Larry of Boswell; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight nephews and ten nieces.

Funeral services for Charles “Butch” Pierce were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Victory Life Church in Boswell with Jan Lee officiating. Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
