Betty Joe Weaver

Betty Joe Weaver of Caddo died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at her residence in Caddo. She was 68. She worked as a provider for 15 years for Home Health.

She was born in Hugo and moved to Caddo, where she had lived for the past 35 years. She enjoyed talking on the phone and going to gospel singings. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.F. “Mutt” Weaver, brother Eddie Hider, and parents Bee & Velma (Waites) Hider.

Survivors: son, Roy Weaver & wife Debbie of Durant; sisters, Geneva Fuller & husband Tommy of Hugo, Florence Throneberry of Bokchito, Lizzy Erskin of Bokchito, Latricia Ball of Hugo; brother, Floyd Hider of Pawhuska; sister, Peggy Brown of Longview, Texas; granddaughter Rebecca Weaver; grandson Brandon Prough, granddaughter Cassandra, grandson Jason Weaver, great-grandchildren Courtney Griffith and Nickolas Weaver; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Betty Joe Weaver of Caddo were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at Armstrong Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Calhoun officiating. Interment was in Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Brandon Prough, Jason Weaver, David Owens, Jason Clark, Russell Bates, Don Erskin, Jr. Payne.
