Houston D. Henry

Mr. Houston D. Henry of Fredericksburg, Texas, formerly of Fort Towson, passed away Monday, January 2, 2006 in the Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital at age 86.Houston D. Henry was born June 28, 1919 in Wayne, Okla., to Elisha and Julia Henry. He retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service where he received many commendations, including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Houston Henry is survived by his wife, Margaret Henry of Fredericksburg, Texas; two daughters, Nancy Feld of San Antonio, Barbara Henry of Price, Utah; three sons, Richard Henry of Dover, Ark., Douglas Henry of Goodyear, Ariz., and Thomas Henry of Hugo; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Burford Henry of McKinney, Texas, Wilburn Henry of Oklahoma City, J.L. Henry of Oklahoma City; a sister, Wynona White of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 6, 2006, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home of Fredericksburg with Rev. Tony Vilano officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Texas. A Rosary service was held on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, Texas.
Visitation for Houston Henry was held on Thursday, January 5, 2006, in the Chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, Texas.
