Funeral services for Lue Ella Baines, 88, of Hugo, are pending with Rogan Funeral Home. Mrs. Baines died January 15, 2006, at Dubis Hospital in Paris, Texas.

Funeral services for Lue Ella Baynes of Hugo were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hugo Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Jenkins officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Mrs. Baynes died January 15, 2006 at Dubuis Hospital in Paris, Texas. She was 88. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church No. 2 in Boswell. Surviving relatives: Two brothers, Roylia Akins and Sammy Akins of Hugo; two sisters, Helen Scroggins and Thelma Neal of Hugo; several nieces and nephews.
