Lily Mable Johnson

Funeral services for Lily Mable Johnson of Hugo were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Darrin Benson officiating. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died January 11, 2006, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. She was 69. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness.
She was born October 13, 1936, in Valliant the daughter of Ed and Mary (Webster) Bell and had lived in Hugo for the last five years. She married Jack Hawkins Johnson in DeQueen, Ark. They were married 52 years before he preceded her in death in November of 2001. Lily enjoyed her work with the Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved people. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Frances June Gray in March of 2003, one grandson; Dennis Matthew, one brother; William Bell and one sister; Adalene Ives.
SURVIVING RELATIVES: four daughters: Lillian Margo Dvorak of Yukon, Okla., Mira Ann Rodriguez of Lancaster, Calif., Wendy Dawn Sosebee of Fort Worth, Texas, and Teresa Lynn Stibrany and her husband Mark of Meridian, Idaho, 15 grandchildren David Mark, Jack Edene, Dawna Ann, April Michelle, Natalie Amber, Wyatt Cody, Lacy Autumn, Elizabeth Margo, Mary Lane, Tammy Lynn, Sommer Rose, Stuart Ashley, Brittany Lisette, Bryan Phillip, Justin Isaac and 18 great grandchildren; Jackie, Jacob, Lily, Julian, Mallisa, Marianna, Sunshine, Jay, Matthew, Tyler, Brittany, Brendan, Ryan, Kylie, Rykert, Skylar, Daisy, and Colton, three sisters; Florence Robertson of Hugo, Etta Vickers of Clarksville, Texas, and Dorothy Kent of Dallas, Texas along with a host of other family and friends.
The family received friends Friday, January 13, 2006 at the funeral home.
