Marvin Milam Services Today at Boswell
Marvin Milam, who operated a grocery store-service station In the Unger community east of Boswell, died Tuesday afternoon at his home following an extended illness. He was 54.Coffey Funeral Home has announced that services will be at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, in the Boswell Baptist Church with Rev. T. H. Maxberry officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery with Jimmie Schuessler, Roy Harless, D. Taylor, W. R. King, Joe Ed Jee, Frank LeFlore and Jess Middleton serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Milam was born Nov. 7, 1903 and had lived in Choctaw County all his life. He was a Baptist and was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Edna: five sons, Howard of Atoka, and Marvin Jr., Tommy, Burl and Robert, all of Unger; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Milam of Hugo; two half-brothers, Jimmie Milam of Strafford, Tex., and Jack Lutman of Mullins, Idaho; Three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Payne of Hugo, Mrs. Ruby Lee of Plainview, Tex., and Mrs. Alice Moore of Alvin, Tex., and three grandchildren.
