Louis J. Fuller

Louis J. Fuller, age 81, of Soper, Oklahoma, went to meet his Lord and Savior, January 30, 2006, in his home. Mr. Fuller was born May 20, 1924 in Bromide, Oklahoma. He married Bonnie Lucille Harbuck on January 10, 1954 in Soper, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Phillippines with a construction battalion. After the service he worked commercial construction, oil field, and farming north of Soper. Louis is survived by three daughters: Martha Gann of Soper, Barbara Payne of Hugo, and Kathy McDaniel of Coleman; two sons, Samuel Fuller of Lindsay and Thomas Fuller of Tucson, Az.; three brothers, Winston Fuller of Pearland, Texas, Tommy Fuller of Gainesville, Texas, Emmett Wayne Fuller of Soper; four sisters, Thelma McBride of Fort Worth, Texas, Wanda Baker of Dallas, Maxine Carlock of Joshua, Texas, and Joyce Wayman of Antlers; Louis was blessed with four grandchildren: Byron Fuller of Lindsay, Christina Gann of Soper, Christopher Gann of Soper, and Tyler Fuller of Lindsay; and two great-grandchildren: Makayla Fuller and Brenna Fuller, both of Lindsay; as well as many, many, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Bonnie Lucille Fuller on October 23, 2005; his parents, T.J. & Leler (Harris) Fuller; one brother, Victor Fuller; and two sisters, Dottie Whisenhunt and Wynona Pauline Fuller.

Funeral services for Louis J. Fuller of Soper will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Archey Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
