Bert Thomas Sexton
Bert Thomas Sexton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2001. He passed away in Antlers, Okla.
Bert Thomas Sexton was born on November 14, 1919 to J.R. and Ruby (Floyd) Sexton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He married Laurice Rainey and had been a resident of Hugo for the past 65 years. He was a retired auto body shop repairman and also was a former employee of the Prater-Lampton Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. Bert was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church of Hugo and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Laurice in October of 1987.
He is survived by one son, Ron Sexton of Hugo, Okla., one daughter, Linda Clark of Watsonville, California; one sister, Renee Frazier of Hugo, Okla.; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a very special friend, Marie Klemme.
Family visitation will be held Sunday, January 7, 2001 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo, Okla.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 8, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel, Hugo, Okla. Reverend Otis Cayton will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, Okla.
Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo, Okla. in charge of arrangements.
