Hayden R. Banks

Memorial services for Hayden Banks were Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel in Hugo.

Mr. Banks died Feb. 21, 2006. He was 76.Mr. Banks was a retired plumber and member of the Springs Chapel Church of Christ, Hugo.

He was born May 25, 1929 in Hugo, the son of Robert and Agnes Banks and had lived in the Hugo area since 1994. He and his wife, Margie were married on October 4, 2004. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Lillie Mae (Sossamon) Banks, a baby daughter, Deborrah Lynn Banks, as well as his parents and three brothers, Clyde Banks, Gene Banks and Charles Dalton Banks.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Margie; one son, Richard Charles Banks and wife Lynn of GA; one daughter, Sherrie B. Ware-Lopez of Leonard, TX; His grandchildren, Robert D. Ware, Jr. and wife Cindy of Leonard, TX, Jared C. Lopez of Durant, OK and Jaime K. Lopez of Leonard, TX, Jeremy Banks and Jessica Banks of East Tawakoni, TX; There are seven great grandchildren including his beloved Claudia Ware of Leonard, TX and three sisters: Virginia Watson of Hugo, Okla., Mary Jim Hawkins of Denton, TX and Bobbie Jean Cox of Ft. Worth, TX;

Rev. Mutt Wallace officiated the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grant Nutrition Center, P.O. Box 104, Grant, OK 74738
