Dewanda “‘Bonnie” Bryant

Graveside services for Dewanda “‘Bonnie”‘ Bryant were Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Ringold Cemetery in Ringold, Okla.

Bonnie died in Hugo on Feb. 22, 2006. She was 72.Bonnie was a homemaker and member of the Ft. Towson chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 30 years.

She was born November 13, 1933 in Rufe, the daughter of Thomas Turner Hughes and Louisa (Branson) Hughes and had lived most of her life in the Ringold area. She married Melvin “‘Cat”‘ Bryant on May 20, 1950 in DeQueen, Ark.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Melvin “‘Cat”‘ Bryant; two daughters: Terry Hale of Irving, Texas and Billie Piearcy of Ringold, Okla.; two sisters: Alma Starr, Ft. Worth, Texas and Dail Provence of Ringold; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
