Joe Wade Miller

Funeral services for Joe Wade Miller of Valliant were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Assembly of God Church in Valliant with Bro. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Interment was in Valliant Cemetery.
Mr. Miller died March 4, 2006 in Broken Bow. He was 26. He was a certified welder.
Joe Wade was born July 17, 1979 in Paris, Texas, the son of Ricky Bob and Barbara (Cockerham) Miller and lived in the Valliant area all of his life. Joe graduated from Valliant High School. He loved to hunt and fish and was always after the “Big Bucks”. He was a loving and faithful son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He was as good a friend as there ever was. But most importantly he loved his children. Preceded in death by his aunt Patricia Rudasill, and his grandfather Waldo “Dodie” Miller.
SURVIVING RELATIVES: one son; Jarrett Wade Miller of Hochatown, one daughter: Jadie Wray Miller of Hochatown, his parents; Ricky Bob and Barbara Miller of Valliant, 2 sisters; Wendy Young and her husband Kevin of Valliant, and Brandy Miller of Rufe, Paternal Grandparents; James and Imogene Cockerham of Wright City, Maternal Grandmother; Hazel “Dee” Pickett of Valliant, 1 Aunt; Rhonda Rogers of Kentucky, 4 uncles; Billy Miller of Texas, Gene Cockerham and Bruce Cockerham of Valliant and Shaun Cockerham of Kentucky, several nieces and nephews along with a host of other friends and relatives.
The family received friends March 6, 2006 in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Joe Wade Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund at the First State Bank in Valliant.
