Bernice Braudrick Cook

Bernice Braudrick Cook passed away on April 13, 2006 in Hugo at the age of 92. She was born on January 15, 1914 in Hugo to Luther and Laura Etta (Burris) Braudrick. She married Clyde R. Cook on September 30, 1937 in Dallas, Texas. Bernice was a homemaker. She grew up here and graduated from Hugo High School. Bernice moved to Plano, Texas, in the early 1950s and moved back to Hugo in 1996. /She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Luther Braudrick; her husband, Clyde Cook in 1992; two brothers, C.T. Braudrick and Royce Braudrick; and one sister, Dorothy Lee Ward.

Bernice is survived by one son, Russell “Rusty” Lee Cook of Frisco, Texas; two brothers, John Willard Braudrick and Billy Gene Braudrick, both of Hugo; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services for Bernice Braudrick Cook of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at Bill Darrough Pavilion at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
