Doris Eastwood

Funeral services for Doris Eastwood of Boswell will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Boswell First Baptist Church with Reverend Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

Doris Helen Eastwood passed away on April 17, 2006 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 72. She was born on October 3, 1933 in Boswell to Joseph H. and Bessie (Richesin) Rowton. She had lived in this area all of her life and was a homemaker. Doris married Wayman Dale Eastwood on May 17, 1951 in DeQueen, Ark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Boswell. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bessie Rowton; her husband, Wayman D. Eastwood in 1992; and two infant children.

She is survived by one son, Wayman Edgar “Buck” Eastwood and wife Karissa of Boswell; four daughters, Sharon Dale Eastwood of Boswell, Alice Ann Cotton and husband John, Deloris Helen Springer and husband Don, both of Durant, and Mona Jo Lynette Hogan and husband Tim of Hugo; one brother, John David Rowton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Jason Cotton, Michael Brian Hogan, Dr. Eric Timothy Hogan, Stephanie Morris, Kyle Eastwood, Kaytlin Eastwood, Shawn Springer and Casey Hinds; three great-grandchildren, Nauticia Michelle Cotton, Jaden Springer and Kanon Springer.
